	Story Behind the Song I wake up lots in the middle of the night with songs running through my head. Cafe Shuffle was probably one of them. The writing process for me is something that literally is done in about 15 minutes. Of course there are changes that come along as it progresses into a fulll fledged song, but for me they come in like a breath of air and go out as quickly. So if I don't get up and write, they are gone. We are almost done with my solo project.It is called Pieces of Me. We record on a Roland vs 1680. Just trying to get her set up here on mp3.com Our home recording company is called Big Fish Music as we love to fish on Lake Supeiror and have a bluegrass band called the Fish Heads. We recorded this song in layers, driving to Minneapolis to record the fiddle, which took about 4-5 takes. I had a terrible cold when I sang the song, so that was not the best of me. There are usually a few takes involved, and we don't know the equipment as well as we want to. So the more we learn the better everything sounds. This was really one of the first things we recorded with the Roland 1680. We had fun...and that's what it's all about.
