    Story Behind the Song
The first line of this song, 'Hey, look what just walked in the door', is exactly what I heard from 1 of several guys standing around in a club called the 'OK Corral' where I was playing when a friend of mine, sweet, sexy, Shirley, walked in. After that experience, the rest of the song was a piece of cake to write. Real life provides the best ideas and inspiration if you just bother to pay attention. "Who Rocks You, Baby!!"

    Lyrics
    Rock&Blues...The Rules
    Verse 1

Hey, look what just walked in the door
Girl of my dreams, crossing the floor
The guys all said, "Don't waste your time
Out of your class, she's way too fine"
As she passed by I caught her glance
Thought, what the hell, I'll take a chance
Baby, you know I got the tools
    ROCK&BLUES...THE RULES

    Verse 2

Maybe I'll win or crash and burn
Woman like that, I'll never learn
She's got the rhythm and the moves
There's just no way that I can lose
Dancing like this should be a crime
Holding her body next to mine
Baby, you know I got the tools
    ROCK&BLUES...THE RULES

    Bridge

This could be heaven, maybe hell
My head is spinnin', I can't tell
They say that love, it just ain't fair
Another drink and I won't care
Is she for real or just a dream
    Reality ain't what it seems
One thing's for sure, I never lose
    ROCK&BLUES...THE RULES
    (Inst, Verse Changes)

    Bridge 2

This could be heaven, maybe hell
My head is spinnin', I can't tell
They say that love, it just ain't fair
Another drink and I just won't care
Is she for real or just a dream
    Reality ain't what it seems
One thing's for sure... I never lose
    ROCK&BLUES...THE RULES

    Verse 3

Bet you're all wonderin' how this ends
Will we be lovers or just friends
Women like that they're worth your time
Just play their game and walk the line
And let the music fuel your dreams
'Bout rock and blues and all it means
Then if you've really paid your dues
    ROCK&BLUES...THE RULES

    Outro

Cause she don't hang around with fools
    ROCK&BLUES...THE RULES
My baby knows I got the tools
    ROCK&BLUES...THE RULES....yeah
    Baby knows I never lose
    ROCK&BLUES...THE RULES
    Spoken:
    Who rocks you, baby!!!....
