    Story Behind the Song
One man's heart given to his lover only to be stomped and smashed as he catches her with another. Upon his discovery he kills her with his bare hands as this once mild mannered man is now filled with hate and "Rage". He hears the police coming for him as her lover summoned the police. As he sits in prison he can't dream at night, instead he can only relive what he saw over and over and over again.

    Lyrics
Crawling on my hands and knees
    I'm begging for your mercy
    Giving my heart away
Was not quite what it seemed to be
Can't you see that my dreams are black
And how time escapes from reality
    Piercing my identity
This hatred is now part of me

    Oh no
Here they come to take me away
And I'll become part of this cage
But, they won't hold back all of this
    RAGE

Crawling on my hands and knees
    I'm begging for your mercy
    Giving my heart away
Was not quite what it seemed to be
Can't you see that my dreams are black
And how time escapes from reality
    Piercing my identity
This hatred is now part of me

    Oh no
Here they come to take me away
And I'll become part of this cage
But, they won't hold back all of this
    RAGE
