	Story Behind the Song Whilst working as a receptionist at one of MANY temp jobs over the years, I wrote the lyrics to Proto. Later that evening (this was in 1999), I monkeyed around with keyboard rhythms and melodies and came up with something I want to show you. This demo version is a precursor to our current one. Now on the drum/bass breakdown section near the end, there are some spacey/somewhat clashing morphing pad sounds supporting it. I invite you to one of our shows to hear the proper version!
