	Story Behind the Song The motivation of the song was the boredom we received from living in such a small, non-open-minded, pathetic town. We first wrote this song in '96, but it was changed around numerous times. Lyrics We're out on the streets- We're just sittin' around There's nothing to do- In this town. Some people care- About you and me But it doesn't look that way- From sea to shining sea. You want to belong- Just hang out with your friends But people want to fight you- For the way you glance at them. We should not take this- We ought to fight back But we don't dare- With the fear of a bullet blowin' through our back.
