Story Behind the Song
This music was composed by the Czechain composer Bedrich Smetana (1824-1884) in 1874 as part of the cycle "My Fatherland".
It depicts aurally the flow of the river Vltava (= Moldau) from a small creek to a mighty river, flowing through the majestic city of Prague.
This rendition is played by synthesizer instruments, computer-controlled through MIDI.
I began rendering int into MIDI in 1995, and this particular piece was the most popular of all my MIDI renditions of classical music.
