	Story Behind the Song Written in Brownsville, Texas in 1996 and pre-recorded the same year, this was motivated by a man I had just fallen in love with. The title of the song "Pierdete en mis ojos" translates to "Get lost in my eyes". I wanted to capture that feeling when you look into someone's eyes and for some reason you can't seam to get enough from just looking at each other. I wanted to have a message in this song and having had a previous marriage gone sour I knew that just getting lost in each other's eyes keeps a relationship going. I sing to this man and tell him that he needs to keep that fire alive and not let the fire die off and become ashes. The sensual invitation to come and get lost in my eyes is a song that any man would love to hear from a woman. Originally, the song had a more up beat and I asked Juan R. Arranda to slow the beat down a little because the music shouldn't be a fast song rather a slow cumbia. By the way, I ended up marrying this man and we continue getting lost in each other's eyes.
