	Story Behind the Song My parents and my Grandfather motivated me to write this song because they definitely represent everything that has to deal with true love. I wrote this song in my room and it didn't take longer than an hour. My brother wrote the music first and put the words to his tracks. I took a couple of hours to record the song because I do all of my background vocals and I sing every chorus. Lyrics Chorus: You were always there for me (A friend whenever I needed) always had time to share with me (Your shoulder was always there for leaning) and you took good care of me (When everybody else was leaving) loved me unconditionally (Your love gave me something to believe in) and I love, I love you, I love you, I love you, I do Verse: You were always there when I needed you all of me problems you helped me through even stuck by me when I acted a fool glad that I have a friend so true, so thankful for you and I love Verse: Oh sometimes I think to myself I do believe that you are an angel sent from heaven above to brighten my day oh to shine your light my way and that's why I say, I love you Bridge: It's me you're always thinking of between us there's so much trust I thank the Lord God above for bringing me so much love
