	Story Behind the Song I didn't participate in the wedding of Jim Bowie but the extras that did were decked out in high Mexican fashion. The rest of us were released at midnight after we wrapped the Fandango scenes. It was early in the morning so I hope no one was caught yawning on camera! The music attempts to capture the anxiety and joy of the moment. This was a union that lasted only a short time as Bowie's wife died of an illness shortly after she left San Antonio. The guitars at the end symbolize Bowie and his wife, and the differences in their character.
