Story Behind the Song
This song describes the purification process of music, quite similar to the purification of gold- you get it past its boiling point, hotter than it was ever intended to withstand, and when all the imperfections have been forced out of the song you're left with the purest form of the element. The chorus is that point just before it's done, when you consider what might happen if you can't hold on just a little longer...
Lyrics
(Can you please make me believe?)
In a world where nothing is wrong
(Can you help me see) the time when we are the one
(I hate) This distant space, created once again
(And just) And just to change, were finally us again
(Chorus) Its the end of my life and its not fair.
Its the end of my dreams, dreams I havent shared.
Its not right- Its not OK-
Ive shown you my hope, now show me the way.
Retreating, depleted desires now reminds me, surrounds me-
Readjust the angle take the turn,
Know knowledge to the strong of suit.
Patiently the lightning comes-
From above experience a state of Zen-
And I dont want to be there when the lights in my eyes
and I cant stop (State of Zen-)
(Chorus) Its the end of my life and its not fair.
Its the end of my dreams, dreams I havent shared.
Its not right- Its not OK-
Ive shown you my hope now show me the way.
(Can you please make me believe?)
In a world where nothing is wrong
(Can you help me see) the time when we are the one
(I hate) This distant space, created once again
(And just) And just to change, were finally us again.
Can you please make me believe can you help me see?...
(Chorus) Its the end of my life and its not fair.
Its the end of my dreams, dreams I havent shared.
Its not right- Its not OK-
Ive shown you my hope now show me the way.
