    Story Behind the Song
When available I work with a friend/musician with CP. We decided to write a song about each other and this was my song for him.

    Lyrics
Mr. Eirich meets me at the front door
    Every Thursday at one
Spinning around in his electric chair
    Making gestures to the sun.

He tells me that he needs to get away
The city walls are closing in
He says you fight for love and a better way
Some days it feels you just can't win.

    But I don't know what I'd do
If I were in your shoes
Is it hard to find the will
    To rise and shine
There's a man behind those eyes
That in myself I cannot find
    You've only just begun
    To rise and shine.

Mr. Eirich always makes me dinner
    Every Thursday at five
We talk about philosophy and love
And how it feels to be alive.

He tells that if he could for one day
Get up from his chair and walk away
That he would embrace the world
And be the greatest lover for that day.

    (chorus)

Mr. Eirich lives in a world of buttons
    And digital rhythm tools
He writes me verse of poetry
of how the world is full of fools.

He tells me they don't understand
Of how it is to live within a cage
But to change the look in some girls eye
Could be an antidote to his rage.
