	Story Behind the Song Brian wrote and recorded a demo version of all the guitar alone in his room at 2 in the morning as he did with all his songs, and later presented it to the band. Joe loved it, and Greg and Tim hated it. One day while the band was rehearsing in Greg's basement they were bored and decided to work on it. They played it and were hooked once they heard Greg's drums to the chorus. Joe and Tim later spent an entire day working on the lyrics which described frustration with school and boring weekends, hoping one day to have something exciting to do. Unfortunately they never did.
