	Story Behind the Song She had a journal, and I read it one day shortly after she told me she was leaving. There were numerous references to "repeating the mantra". I finally found out what the mantra was - a bunch of affirmations along the lines of "You love Brian. Brian loves you. Brian needs you. You have a good life with Brian." She used to run this through her head when she was thinking of leaving. Apparently the mantra failed!
