	Story Behind the Song This is a stripped down acoustic tune that we recorded last summer in the attic of the mighty John Howard. The drums sound really freaking good. This is one of the songs i'm most proud of, out of all the ones we've recorded. The track consists of matt on bass, guitar, and vox, cliffy on drums, and the mighty John Howard on keys. Lyrics we are renegades taught to misbehave standard bearers for the present age we have seen the lives we'd trade fluorescent waves wash everything away small screen tragedies told so beautifully better serve to dull the agony what we'd give to be so free forget ourselves and walk into the screen and we probably need the time away a shelter from the pouring rain to soothe the soul and numb the pain to make the rules, and never wait to feel the warmth of gamma rays pretend that these aren't wasted days too tall heroes watched by wannabes mesmerized by mock realities while tubes that transport stress relief illumine those who'd passively recieve and they probably need the time away i know that we need the time away
