Story Behind the Song
This song was written some year ago. It's my sister who wrote the lyric. It's recorded in a studio, which belongs to a friend of mine. The only thing thats not recorded by me, are the drums, which is computer made...
Lyrics
Over forests and deep waters.
Mountains and green valleys.
To a landscape where almost nothing grows.
No sound of living creatures.
No human your eyes can see.
You may wonder if someone’s ever been here.
Grotesque formations made of stone.
Adorns the ground where fumes are rising.
Water filled holes and others with endless darkness.
They all can keep a secret.
Tempts you with its mystery.
Maybe one of them leads into the abyss, to hell.
In a time when there were many angels.
One, created in fire with black wings.
The most beauteous creation.
Why worship one you don’t admire?
The man with the light shining.
Stood up against what others believed was everything.
Cursed by the lord, which he refused to obey.
He got deprived on everything.
Banished to the clefts of terror.
No one could take his bitter – sweet memories.
A glimpse of human life.
A scent of paradise.
Soft skin, black hair in the wind, lips red like blood.
Forbidden fruit for fallen angels.
His curse was lonely life.
Prevented to mix with people of the earth.
Only sit and watch in silence.
But how could he do that?
When he was a prisoner in hell.
Yearning and suffering, his only company.
There he sits shaking with his head in his hands.
All he owned was his damned memories.
Filled his head with a little bit of hope.
Why worship one you don’t admire?
The man with the light shining.
Stood up against what others believed was everything.
Cursed by the lord, which he refused to obey.
An endless aching need
Frustration will always walk by his side.
Bitterness – Fury – Solitude
Darkness – Hate – Aggression
