	Story Behind the Song Pelo medo de estarem sozinhos no universo e em suas vidas, muitos abdicam de diversas coisas na vida em nome de uma crença, uma segurança. As pessoas sentam e se contentam com uma vida que na verdade se resume à sobrevivência na esperança que sejam salvos um dia pelos seus deuses. Acreditam que a felicidade está em passar a vida servindo a uma entidade que a princípio não mostra nenhuma prova de existência e mesmo assim se sabe que nenhum tipo de felicidade está relacionado à submissão. Esta música em primeiro lugar expressa a necessidade das pessoas de terem um líder, alguém que lhes mostre as verdades da vida. Para isso nada melhor do que usar como exemplo as instituições religiosas. Porém, se buscarmos a fundo, notaremos que essa necessidade não se resume apenas a crenças religiosas. Na verdade ela se expande por diversos campos: O religioso necessita que o clérigo lhe mostre as verdades cristãs sobre a vida; O cético necessita que cientistas lhe mostrem as verdades absolutas sobre a vida; E o filosófico que necessita de filósofos e estudiosos para lhe mostrem as verdades da razão sobre a vida. O ideal na verdade seria cada individuo ter suas próprias verdades baseadas em suas próprias experiências de vida, de leitura, etc. Lyrics d.e.u.s.
