	Story Behind the Song At age 14, Ira Blue, San Fransisco's KGO talk radio show host, introduced me to Scott Joplin's Maple Leaf Rag before the Sting popularized RagTime music. I promised myself that I one day would learn to play ragtime. I wrote this Rag in dedication to Ira and Scott.
