I was walking down the road of life, and I was walking all alone. Came to a corner and I could see the road was long. The pavement was all faded and the surface was all torn.
This was not the first choice of the roads to travel by, but I figured I take the long road, because it's connected to the sky.
I've come to some bridges, and I've yielded for a while. But when the hard times were over, I could always seem to smile.
Many people have joined my journey and now we all walk side by side. And if they ever fall off that path of life, they'll always be in my heart and in my mind.
