	Story Behind the Song I wrote this about going after my dreams(being a Rock Star) and the struggles you will find along the way, leaving your family behind, so that they don't have to go thru the long hard climb to the stars wit you, but when you get there coming back to get them, anybody with a dream can relate to this song, it was written acoustically, josh had the riff, the chorus came instantly(like always) and the verse just fell into place perfectly, I used my smooth monotone vocal in the verse, and let the cigarette whiskey stained rasp take over in the chorus, it was completed in less than a day, I think we wrote this and "Color My Heart Red" in the same day, rehearsed this with the band, went into the studio and within 3 days it was complete done, I actually had strep throat so the vocals would have been done the same night as the guitars but I had to wait, but it turned out good, don't ya think?
