	Story Behind the Song We first became interested in the novel by Orson Scott Card through a friend of guitar player John Salabounis. His friend was home on leave from the United States Marine Corps. The novel Ender's Game was on the recommended reading list when this Marine went through boot and he recommended that John read it. John became so motivated by reading the novel that he came into practice with several guitar parts written. He sat down with singer Ray Underwood to work on lyrics and fellow guitarist Rob Wiley to work on arrangment and by the end of practice had most of the song written. Ender's Game has been a constant part of the Phantom Stranger live show and is always a crowd pleaser.
