A song about someone who deals with emotion by not dealing with emotion.
    CD: Brad Madison
Credits: written and produced by Brad Madison

    Story Behind the Song
This song was written in San Francisco about 2 years ago. I am someone who wears his emotions on his sleeves. In my life I have witnessed people who are able to take feelings of pain and keep them somewhere inside. I thought to myself..."That must be so hard to do that, I mean it must take an extraordinary amount of strength to keep it all inside. Ill never be that strong, or fly that high, or run that fast. Ill never have that superhuman ability.

    Lyrics
Another tear falls from my eye
You just frown and wonder why I'll
Never be as strong as you
    But I'll try
    You know how I'll try
    But I'll never fly
    Not as high as you

    I'll never understand
What it feels like to be superman
I try so hard to maybe understand
Your superhuman ability not to feel
Your superhuman ability not to see
Your superhuman ability is killing me

Like a shooting bullet or a train
You'd do anything to outrun your pain
I'll never be as fast as you
    But I'll try
    You know how I'll try
    But I'll never fly
    Not as high as you

    I'll never understand
What it feels like to be superman
I try so hard to maybe understand
Your superhuman ability not to feel
Your superhuman ability not to see
Your superhuman ability is killing me

And one day I know you'll
    Have to face the fact
No matter how hard you try you'll
    Have to face the fact
You'll never be strong enough you'll
    Never fly high enough so
    Keep on trying and your
    Heart will turn to stone
    But not my own

    I'll never understand
What it feels like to be superman
I try so hard to maybe understand
Your superhuman ability not to feel
    I'll never understand
    Your superhuman ability
Not to feel not to see a thing
I try so hard to maybe
Understand what it feels like to be you
What it feels like to be me
    Your superhuman ability
    Superhuman ability
Your superhuman ability is killing me
