	Story Behind the Song We have always been a band that was into fitting the lyrics with the feeling that the music evoked. We came up with this pretty, sort of sad verse music, and then I wanted to add an incongruous bridge and a quirky chorus-just to mess up the prettiness. Spring thought it sounded kind of sultry, but she was at a loss for lyrics, and she just began singing some nonsense about a puppy. Of course she wouldn't let that sultry thing go, and we had "sultry Puppy". But it was cool for us because it was a departure from how we had always written before...
