	Story Behind the Song Written by guitarist Kyle Benson and bassist Dan Robison, Shotgun is one of the many truly amazing songs on Random's newest CD. It dips into so many musical genres, from classic old-school type reggae to its clever melodic 6/8 ending. Lyrics Why would John steal my song it feels so empty lately like a body with the voice gone. I can still hear it inside my head it's the truth left so I'll know I'm wrong it's the spring shot down. Thus I know it's not the way that's not you and that's not your face anymore its just like yesterday. They stole your life when you were gone to use your skin as a mask for their empty shotgun. Help me I don't understand there's less anger than confusion here and I don't like to often like to make demands. But I must insist that I'll use this one on my own this time and maybe even co-exist. Aside from the conflict all I have is memories and it make me sad that there's no hope for tomorrow. I can't silent slip it if it's the voice of truth even if it killed the season before the sunrise. I don't care about the truth now because it feels like injustice it hurts my dignity, I don't know how. Your sky is the guide but it's still my choice. Even though there will be no future I'll still have your voice.
