    Story Behind the Song
I was sitting in my studio one day and became very frustrated. At times having a full time music career, and a full time job can be very trying. I don’t know why, but I started turning knobs on my amp and effect pedals while casually playing my guitar. As you might expect it wasn’t long before I created a terrible, raunchy, God forbidding sound. For some reason I loved it, and for no apparent reason I continued to play using this tone. About five minutes later, my girlfriend opened up the door and asked “Are you nuts???”....”What the hell are you doing??”. She then topped it all off by saying “That sounds like shit!”
I just sat there and made things worse by laughing. I know it must have sounded horrible. It really must have. My girlfriend has never complained about my playing, no matter how late, long, or loud. I shut the amps off, (I didn’t wanna die...), and left it at that. A couple of hours later she asked why I was playing that awful crap.
Nothing more than a direct way of telling people to shove their rumors and bullshit, “Go Home” was written because of the pressure music, jobs, friends, and co-workers naturally does to a person.
Incidentally, the guitar solo in this song, (one of my all time favorites), utilized that “horrible” sound. (Actually, I used an Octafuzz, made by Fulltone, and turned the amps wide open. Only the Octafuzz sounded way more cool!!)

    Lyrics
    Go Home

    Everyone has closets, skeletons packed
we all carry knives and stab each others back
It’s such a shame there exists those crimes
where you do as you will, on borrowed time

    chorus
I’ve been around, long enough to know
losers when I see them, go home

Give me a drug, so I can forget
my kingdom of sorrow and my crown made of shit
so do as you will and commit those crimes
but remember in the end, we’re all gonna die

chorus and then the cool ass guitar solo

    I defecate on your kind
you threaten my innocence when you play with my mind
so do as you will, commit your crimes
remember in the end, we’re all gonna die

    chorus

    Everyone has closets, skeletons packed
and I carry knives that I pulled from my back
do as you will, commit your crimes
remember in the end, you’re payin the price

    chorus
