	Story Behind the Song I wrote this song in one evening, both the words and lyrics. The recording also flowed just as easily. The song was motivated by an actual relationship, one that I'm sure that many people can identify with. Getting together is often the hardest part of a relationship. Lyrics It's a real head game in a strange sort of way A surreal mind trap you lay And I can't wait to get tangled in your world You know too well I want to be your girl When you're ready to be honest with me I might be gone When you're ready to make love to me I might've found someone What a tragedy to waste this time It won't come again The feeling I'm getting is that we're More than friends Are these crossed signals from just a boy Who's afraid to face rejection and pain?
