This is a fun song about a kids view of all the things he can do, like swim and jump and climb a tree, and fly and say the alphabet and count to 63...
Credits: Composed, arranged and performed by Al Burgasser

    Story Behind the Song
This song was written to celebrate the first time the young daughter of a friend learned how to swim and the excitement she showed in telling everyone who would listen about her new skill.

The song was originally written in a day with about 4 days spent to create the music for it using Cakewalk software. The mucis was then combined with the vocal using a multichannel mixing system. Total time from concept to recording was about 4 days.

    Lyrics
Mommy I can swim just like a dolphin
Splashing in the waves and diving deep in the sea
Playing hide and seek with a lobster name Fred
Who's really good at finding me

Mommy I can fly just like a butterfly
Go from flower to flower in the fresh morning dew
Buttercups and daffodils and daisies are my favorite
    Here's a bunch I picked for you

I may be exaggerating just a little bit
But that part of the fun of being a little kid
But mommy please remember that one thing is always true
And that's when I tell you that I love you

Mommy I can jump just like a kangaroo
Hopping through the outback with a wallaby or two
And playing with koalas up in eucalyptus trees
    That's what kangaroos do

I may be exaggerating just a little bit
But that's part of the fun of being a little kid
But mommy please remember that one thing is always true
And that's when I tell you that I love you

Mommy I can swim and jump and climb a tree
And fly and say the alphabet and count to sixty three
But mostly what I wanna do is make my mom and daddy
    Really proud of me

Mostly what I wannna do is make my mom and dad
    Really proud of me
