	Story Behind the Song This song was recorded in one take in David's kitchen. David ran the mics through a mini mixer placed on the kitchen bench, then hooked up the mixer to his computer in the next room. We put down the guitar track in one take and likewise for the vocals. I was surprised how easy it was. The only hassle was waiting for the guy next door to stop mowing his lawn, because the dynamic mics were picking up the lawnmower clear as - if you listen closely you may be able to hear the traffic noise and my foot tapping! I was inspired to write this song by my girlfriend (of course!). I remarked one day how smooth, white and perfect her skin was... "Just like porcelain." I lept out of bed, grabbed my guitar and wrote the song in about 10 mins. It eveolved into it's present form over the following two weeks - with the exception of the final line, which was added some six months later, after we broke up!
