Story Behind the Song
Alice started out (in mid 1975) as "A Looking Glass, Alice, and Me." But, since then, I shortened it to just "Alice." It has changed very little since written. The deviations from Carroll's stories were part intentional and part an accident of memory. But, to make it closer to the stories would have taken away from my images. So, I left them as they came out.
