I wrote this song for my friend Steph, who's probably one of the coolest girls I know. This song was kept in the works for a while, but I finally wrote it on spring break. It's got a relaxed feel and I added some precussion thanks to a pretty sweet keyboard. |

Story Behind the Song
This song is about a girl... of course. Like I said, I wrote it on spring break and it's a very simple song, just two main chords. If you want the real low down on this song, email me... I can't really reveal it all here!
Lyrics
Today I saw the president
He smiled and shook my hand
MY friends said I was lucky
But they don't understand
Maybe their right but baby it's true,
No one can humble me, like you.
I need three cups of coffee
Just to keep me awake
My mind may be focused
But my hands will shake
Caffeine does nothing like what you can do,
No one excites me, like you.
I've listened to Louis
And Tony Bennett is fine
I swing with Sinatra
And that Ella is divine
They sing ballads and a show tune or two,
But no one sings those love songs, like you.
Maybe their right but baby it's true,
No one can humble me, like you.
