Don Navarro's first CD 'New leash On Life', put out under the psudo name 'Lazydawg' (lazydawg.org), will make a perfect soundtrack for sleeping in on sunday's, or long drive's on days that feel languid and unhurried. With a few unexpected and welcome bursts of energy these sort of sweet soft-core chill songs, reflect on the evryday life that surrounds us all.
"So, I've tried to capture and create a personal sound track, to weave into to your own lazy days." -lazydawg

Story Behind the Song
The motivation for the somg huh? Well I'd have to say it was in part do to the pot no doubt, also could have been the opportunity of having someone finally pick up my dad's old guitar, I only had used and kept around as a prop for styling photo shoots. Which is my actual career. Anyway, AON just started playing and i naturally just started humming, then singing words andd then we stopped. It was than that we knew something was happening here. AON suggested that we get out a tape recorder and record what comes out. Two hours later, after much laughter through-out ( the original DAT stuff is pretty fun to re listen too)
So there we had it, after listening there were some songs that were som amazingly complete feeling. 'Paper' being one of them, It is still the same song as it was than. Never changed, just got a bit fuller. We tried to freak it out, but it just seemed to always want to go back to that raw, bare naked space it came from, and much the place i was in at that point in my life after a recent break-up.
While I was trying to follow AON while he played out what whould later be 'Paper' I remember thinking of one person, that one that just broke my heart. The one who broke up on the phone like we were twelve or something. To that one love (P.Willard), here is my unconcious response to it all.

Lyrics
Paper
Blue on a Sunday afternoon
Rain on my windowsill and I am thinking of you
A glass of milk and the paper, don’t mean much now
I miss you I miss you somehow
Chorus:
On the paper I awoke
On the paper I broke
On the paper I awoke
On the paper I wrote
I miss you oh I miss you (x2)
Two of a kind once sadly torn
Reminders like paper cuts left and lingering on
Your eyes, my mouth, nothing is intertwined and
I miss you I miss you sometimes
Repeat Chorus
Bridge
Still on the paper I see you face in every word
Your eyes like headlines your lips your signature
Repeat Chorus / Out to end
