Story Behind the Song
Arlen Bynum provided the lyrics to most of this song, stemming from his 16 hour ride on a bus upon which his two friends riding with him hooked up, leaving him alone and sad. Adding fuel to the fire, Aaron Strawser from the A Strings was one of the guilty couple.
Lyrics
This song goes out to anyone who has ever ridden on a Greyhound bus, for sixteen hours.
I boarded a Greyhound with two friends by my side, sixteen hours later I wanted to die. I sat by myself, they sat together. A few hours later the couple in front of me started to snore, turns out, they were just having sex. I took a peek, noticed something moving around in her shirt. He was giving her a swirl. If she was hot, I wouldn't have minded, but she was really gross. Chatting with my friends would have helped me through, but they were getting their own game on. That's the story of when i lost my will to live, on the Greyhound of Blues.
