Story Behind the Song
A simple song about learning important lessions in life and then finding a solution in singing a song. I wrote the song in my back yard while thinking about life. The recording sessions took several days and help from some special musicians friends.

Verse I:
Each of us has wanted something out of life.
And some of us have even lost it, once or twice.
Did it make you act real mean? And did you make an awful scene?
Or, did you find a way to feel it in a song?
Verse II:
Some of us have needed someone at some time.
Which of us has let old envies make us blind?
When we hurt someone that cares; that’s always there to share,
did we find a way to makeup in a song?
Chorus:
Everyone needs a song to sing.
Everyone deep inside has a need to say it.
Come on sing along, and say it in a song.
Everyone needs a song to sing
Verse III:
Are there times when the world does you wrong? And bad times when you seem to be alone.
Does your world seem to fall apart; makes you sad and breaks your heart,
‘till you find a way to mend it in a song.
Verse IV:
Say, “today is a new day in my life. And today all my bad ways, I’ll make right.
Now the time has finally come, I’m gonna stand, fight, and not run.
Because I found a way to do it in a song.”
Chorus:
Everyone needs a song to sing.
Everyone deep inside has a need to say it.
Come on sing along, and say it in a song.
Everyone needs a song to sing.
