Story Behind the Song
I originally wrote this song for a motion picture that was not completed. However, it is a good song with an interesting story.
The recording took several days in my project studio in Los Angeles.

Verse I:
I was walk-in’ the streets alone in San Antone, looking for love, far, far from home.
Alone tonight, and soon the sun will rise,
if the devil don’t catch me by surprise.
if the devil don’t catch me by surprise.
Verse II:
I met her on a street they called Malone.
She was looking kind of wild, and alone.
She had a look of love-in’,
in her eyes, her eyes.
Was she the devil dressed like a woman in disguise?
Was she the devil dressed like a woman in disguise?
Bridge:
She took my hand and said, “follow me,
tonight you can have me for free.
tonight you can have me for free.”
Verse IV:
Sometime later, I went back to San Antone,
searching for that girl on Malone.
The memory of her lov-in’ is always heavy on my mind, my mind.
I can’t forget her. I’ve got to have her one more time.
I can’t forget her. I’ve got to have her one more time.
