	Story Behind the Song I've had the song for ages... but it was one of those songs which took forever to get pieced together. The lyrics came after re-reading the catcher in the rye- an AMAZING book- if you haven't read it already, i can't recommend it enough! Lyrics he was always in a lot of trouble right since from he was a little kid, at least that's what the story read / and he would laugh, and call his girl, stay up late, enjoy the world, he was living in a front row seat, but the characters weren't real he wasn't meant for here he saw things truly tell it like it is cos i know that you know better spoke gushing with a vitriolic hate of the fakes and the phonies / he couldn't see it but was do damn fiercely intellectual he said he'd be leaving but he says a lot of things he'd find a connection cos that's all he needed if a body catch a body coming through the rye, that's how we save ourselves, protect ourseves, i'm not making any sense, i must apologise, it's just that i read the best books tell you what you already know
