	Story Behind the Song Well believe it or not I wrote this song in 30 minutes. That's right, 30! The motivation for writing this song came from my brother Sebastian. I was in the middle of a week long writer's block when I called his home in California to ask him why is it so hard for me to write music. This was also in the process of a decision to follow in his footsteps and write Spanish Rock. He simply told me that I can't force myself to write and to consider all topics. You can't just say I'm going to write a song and expect to sit down and end up with a whole song. Writing comes naturally, it should flow, not be forced out. So after I hung up the phone I sat and began to think about a girlfriend of mine that had left me without telling me anything. I started to write about the feelings she left me with and the thoughts in my head about what she did. I picked up the guitar and put 4 chords together and put a melody on what I wrote and before I knew it I had a song called The Reason.
