    Story Behind the Song
I wrote this song that describes an affair that took place in my life. The song idea came much later than the actual experience.
The recording took a considerable amount of time to get the mood just right for the final recording and mixes.

    Lover’s Lies

    Verse I:
I met her late one night.
We danced under soft, blue lights, exchanging thoughts on life
    ‘till the dawn.
We told a lie or two, what harm would it do,
to prove a point of view with lover’s lies.

    Verse II:
I told her that I loved her.
I told her that I cared.
I said that I should be the one
    always lying near.

    Chorus:
    We loved away the night,
    our fantacies in flight.
    Lost in love’s delights
    and lovers lies.
To tell a lie or two,
    what hard would it do,
to prove a point of view
    with lover’s lies?

    Verse III:
I told her that I wanted her
and felt the way she moved.
“Tonight” she said, “I’d be the one,
    would my love be true?"

    Chorus:
    We loved away the night,
    our fantacies in flight.
    Lost in love’s delight
    and lover’s lies.
To tell a lie or two,
    what hard would it do,
to prove a point or view
    with lovers lies.

    Verse IV:
She told me that she loved me,
    told me that she cared,
said, “ that I should be the one
    always lying near”.

    Chorus:
    We loved away the night,
    our fantacies in flight,
lost in love’s delight and lover’s lies.
To tell a lie or two,
    what harm would it do,
to prove a point of view
    with lover’s lies.
