Atman project started at the beginning of the '90s; the music is consistently influenced from electronic music together with many other instrumental music traditions, and rely on the best-of-breed modern technology. Nevertheless, Atman music diverges consistently from the nearly "mechanical sounding" electronic music you will mostly hear today. A good balance of sequencing and programming, real instrument play and improvisation, along with the use of non-electronic instruments give life to instrumental pieces that are at times emotional, at times chilling, always solidly built and with a deep human feel.
