	The opening track and first recorded piece of the Bone Tree Soundtracks. Deep and mournful in power and scope, it never fails to move the listener to the edge of oblivion. An open doorway to a realm of simultaneous joy and despair that is an unblinking interpretation of the human condition we call "life".

	Story Behind the Song This was one of the quickest pieces I ever completed. I laid down the base harmonics ? keyboards one afternoon (The same day as "the Traveler") and then less than a week later Ferrara and I miraculously played the recorder and e-bowed guitar lines together live in a one-take recording session. A little bit of post production and the track was complete. This set the mood for the rest of the Bone Tree Soundtracks CD, which was used as backing for a Bone Tee Butoh performance choreographed and conceived by my partner KAOSMIKITTY.
