Story Behind the Song
The original harmonics and rythym track were recorded in an afternoon in my office space at the Warfield building in San Francisco, then left to contemplate the finishing touch for 2 whole years! It was a very special piece and I wanted to be sure of adding the most potent emotional quality possible to finish the piece. Finally in 2001 I picked up my guitar and e bow and set to layering the sonorous strings you'll now hear. Melancholia indeed...
