	I often wonder if the hijackers of those four doomed flights on 9 / 11 had any real conception of what the ultimate result of their acts of terrorism would be. In little more than a year practically all of the freedoms that Americans have always held sacred as the heart and soul of their "more perfect union" have been utterly decimated by those fighting the 'war on terrorism' on our behalf.

	Story Behind the Song The bulk of this piece was composed as a soundtrack for a war scene in a performance by the Mystic Family Circus. But when the show fell apart the song was at a stage where the only sound efx were that of Jets big explosions and the wolves of War. Then 9 / 11 occured and it all seemed to make sense. Ferrara recorded some takes on the Rhaita to complete the middle eastern tint and voila, a cathartic release of an interpretation of one of the most intense events in human history.
