	An orchestral piece I composed to try to capture the feeling of living here in the N.Ga. mountains in the Cohutta Wilderness, known locally as the Cherokee Forest.

	Story Behind the Song It starts off with a soft ethnic flute to set the mood of the imminent sunrise. As the sky grows lighter, birds begin their daily songs. The streams add thier ambiance. As it gets still lighter, a string section builds the mood. The world is waking up. The morning fog, represented by a brass ensemble, rolls down the mountains and the mood builds as all the forest is alert. We end as we began, with the mournful sound of the flute as the morning majesty slips into midday. fini...........
