	Story Behind the Song I set out for the first time to write a song with "What If". No inspiration, no thoughts, just time set aside to do a task. I was given the word "change" and started to write. I often associate this song with reflection of times passed, people or events, or decisions made how they've affected our lives. It tends to be a favorite of those who have heard it because it is a song we can all relate to in one way or another. The first verse is rather generic in content - no specific people involved; however, the second verse interlocks my father and grandmother and their relationship at her death. I feel like everyone touches my life one way or another. I may not know why or how, but somewhere down the road of life I think, and remember, and figure what if.....
