	Lyrics On my 15th birthday I went to my very first dance. Me and my best friend looking for a little romance. So we stole a couple beers and mmm they sure tasted good. Paid two bucks at the door and tried to look as old as we could. She was up by the stage when I saw her standing there. Short white dress, blue eyes and long blond hair. It took every bit of courage just to walk up and say " Hello ". She said " Can you dance? ", and I said "I really don't know". Then she said " RELAX, close your eyes, let the beat be your guide, tonight ". It took a little while but I learned how to rock and roll. Then the lights went down and the music got real slow. I almost walked away but then I noticed the look in her eyes. She put my arm around her waist and I swear I almost died. When the band stopped playing it was almost two. I was three hours late I didn't know what to do. But she took my hand and we walked outside To her daddy's car she said "Let's take a ride". So she drove to a place with a view of the city below The moon up above, the radio way down low. When we climbed in the back I was sure I knew what for, But she took me places I'd never been before.
