	Story Behind the Song I wrote this song in the spring of 1995. I was working a lot with open string drones and the "neutered" (third-less) 9th chords--liking the way they felt--keeping the song ambiguously out of the major/minor tonalities during the verses. The chorus came out of some of the drone combinations I was working with, and just seemed to write itself--like a big, heavy slow-moving wheel it suggested some sort of perpetual motion. I kept the lyrics off of it because it seemed to have so much to say on its own.
