    Story Behind the Song
'Leaving' came together when Daniel Iorio heard Mark's instrumental version and was so inspired, he immediately began on the lyrics and recorded the vocals within days...*cut to Germany*... At this time, master producer Mike Burn from Frankfurt, Germany was contacted by Mark to mix and master the whole project. Mike, like a mad scientist at work in his laboratory, worked well into the wee hours of morning, mixing Daniel's vocals in with Mark's music and adding some rockin' electric guitar to the track. Here are the results of their efforts...Enjoy!

    Lyrics
    Leaving

Too young to know any better,
but old enough to see what's there.

No one said it would be easy

    No one said it would be fair ;
to somehow miss what isn't there.
you gave your all when all was rare...

No one said it would be easy

Nobody said it would be easy,
Nobody said it would be fair.

No one said it would be easy

    and it's leaving...
    and it's leaving...
    leaving for good...

    with no rhyme or reason!
    with no rhyme or reason!

    No one told me!
    No one told me!
    No one told me...

Nobody said it would be safe
Nobody said it would be free
Nobody said it would be something
Nobody told me i could leave...

Nobody told me i could leave.
