    Story Behind the Song
Fun and scandalicious things always happen in Seattle :) In this story, I went there for a Jewish conference. Met a str8 guy. He wasn't so str8. Looking back, I wasn't so nice. So I wrote a song.

    Lyrics
I'm spinning in my sheltered bubble
As I deep throat you in the hotel stairwell
And beat off in the airplane bathroom
To try to put it all into perspective

Well maybe it was the coffee of the West Coast
That made you fall for a man though it was your first time
You fucked like you knew what you were doing
Sensuality crosses all lines and our hands are entwined
    Our hands are entwined

So when I, I think of you
I tend to fall into an empty intimacy
That's growing outside the physical side
    And tripping on erotic apathy

    I'm spinning in this again
And I want to know if you are who you say you are
And the cop comes up the stairs, quick
    Let's exchange our business cards

Well maybe it was the mystique of the West Coast
That made you fall for a cock and someone
Who didn't know what they liked and who said they did
And who played it again and again
    Again and again

    CHORUS
    Tripping on erotic apathy

My trench-coat is falling with my pants
And I'm erect in all respects of this chance encounter
And you look at me and I know you're playing the race card

Just the way I look at me, and I'm playing the race card
I wonder if you're still driving the racecar
Are you still driving the racecar

    CHORUS
