	Story Behind the Song this is an older song that i recorded with brian beattie in his garage studio. it was written and recorded within a two day period. this was my first glimpse at writing in the studio. total blast. weird little song out of left field. one of my favorites. Lyrics yesterday i looked up and saw a cloud shaped like a dog it looked back down at me and let out a growl i ducked and felt a strange finger on me what do you think you are doing messing with my dog? this finger with ten smiles and no laughing eyes i bursted with raindrops that covered me that covered me with the finger i will follow show me where i can hold on to listen as i take a turn in leading you someday i will fly through a dark cloud shaped like a dog
