Story Behind the Song
The motivation for this song was MT's youth. The lyrics mean exactly what they say. Spat On It was written originally as Think On It by KRW in 1996 and rewritten in 2000 to be performed as a band, only to be remixed in 2002-2003 as it is now. This is an independent recording from early April 2003.
Lyrics
soundblast, vibrations, variations of color
instants lost inside each other
discover thou art my keeper what's kept to myself
newly found mental health
let me take you to a world of complex styles
and lyrically browse through your minds x- files
see as a child struck by the will of the wild
all alone in a crowd like the drop of da nile
or log onto files, of mysteries unsolved
compiled by the minds of a time gone foul
where enemies prowl in the dark of a smile
take me to a place i haven't been in a while
i found a needle in a haystack when i sat on it, put my face on a cd when you spat on it,
it's ok for me to be me if i'm not bothering you, but when our thoughts begin to conflict i become disposible, so what the fuck is one supposed to do when people say they're close to you, but when you turn your back those people thinkin about smokin you, still hopin that you've got a chance to make it in this world, but when you climb to the top it's to the bottom you get hurled, and they don't understand the dreamers when the dream is filled with joy they only understand the dreamers when the dream is to destroy, like to deploy a thousand missiles, to a thousand
different places, and a thousand different places lose a thousand different faces,
now that was a million people destroyed by the dreams of a hopeless boy, who never had the love that a child should, so he grew up twisted and misunderstood, how could he be evil if he swore he was good?
HOW COULD HE BE EVIL, IF HE SWORE HE WAS GOOD???
soundblast, vibrations, variations of color
instants lost inside eachother
discover thou art my keeper what's kept to myself
newly found mental health
