The lyrics of this song originally came from a poem an old roommate of mine wrote back in the early '80s. He was struggling with his faith and came to the conclusion that unless he gave his heart entirely to the Lord, his life would be meaningless. I am honored to now be able to present this song and will always remember Dennis who taught me the importance of RESPONDING to the Lord's call. | MP3.com CD: New Creation Music, Volume One - buy it!

Story Behind the Song

Lyrics
Chorus:
I’m Reacting to your call Lord. No more acting, I’m all yours Lord.
Verse 1:
You’re my Lord, ‘cause you are. Where I go, There you are. You’re my hope, morning star. In my heart, is where you are.
Verse 2:
In my heart I took a stand and made the mistake of running again; But Your love was there to see me through, and it gave me the strength to start anew. Where I am is where You are, no matter if I’m near or far. Take me to Your higher ground, ‘cause I was lost, but now I’m found.
Verse 3:
(I’m cryin’ out) I wanna know you, Lord. (I’m cryin’ out) I wanna see you, Lord. (I’m listening for you now, I’m listening) I hear you! (I’m waiting here for you now, I’m waiting here) To meet you.
