Lyrics Verse 1: The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood. Sent from God as a witness to the love of the Lord. He could make your life shine forever. Chorus: Awake, children of light. The time has come to rise, come we shall receive Him. Awake, children of light. The time has come to rise, come we shall behold Him. Verse 2: We have seen His glory, of the one and only Son. And so I speak to you boldly, in the Christ is life. The day will soon arive when Jesus comes. Verse 3: And to all who receive Him, who believe in His Name. They shall be given the right to be Children of God. Not of blood, or flesh or man, but born of God. Verse 4: John bore witness of Him. This is He of whom I spoke. He has come down from heaven, behold the Lamb of God. This, my joy, therefore is fulfilled.
